Adam Koenig was elected to the Kentucky State House of Representatives in November 2006. He serves on the Banking and Insurance, Local Government, Economic Development, and Labor and Industry Committees.
Prior to his election as a State Representative, Adam served 8 years as a Kenton County Commissioner and 3 years as a Villa Hills City Councilman.
Adam is a resident of Erlanger. A graduate of Covington Catholic High School , Adam received a B.A. in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford Ohio with a minor in Geography. Adam is a member of St. Joseph Church in Crescent Springs where he serves as a lector. Adam is a founding member of the Kenton County Conservancy. Adam is also a member of Legacy and served on the Effective Governance committee for the Vision 2015 project.
Adam is also a former Chariman of the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Council.
In addition to being a State Representative, Adam is a small business owner. Adam's company is called MAK Consulting. Adam currently does consulting work for Capital Software, a small software company in Ft. Wright that provides tax, utility, and business license software for governments all across the county.
