He serves on the Banking and Insurance, Local Government, Economic Development, and Labor and Industry Committees. Prior to his election as a State Representative, Adam served 8 years as a Kenton County Commissioner and 3 years as a Villa Hills City Councilman.   Adam is a resident of Erlanger. A graduate of Covington Catholic High School , Adam received a B.A. in Political Science from Miami University in Oxford Ohio with a minor in Geography. Adam is a member of St. Joseph Church in Crescent Springs where he serves as a lector. Adam is a founding member of the Kenton County Conservancy. Adam is also a member of Legacy and served on the Effective Governance committee for the Vision 2015 project. Adam is also a former Chariman of the Telecommunications Board of Northern Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Council. In addition to being a State Representative, Adam is a small business owner. Adam's company is called MAK Consulting. Adam currently does consulting work for Capital Software, a small software company in Ft. Wright that provides tax, utility, and business license software for governments all across the county.
